Shay's Blog is born
For those of you curious, this blog is powered by WriteFreely, which I'm self-hosting on a dedicated VPS.
Why did I choose to go with that? Honestly, just felt like starting a blog and searched up some good open-source solutions that I could self-host, and this one stood out to me in terms of simplicity and documentation.
My main motive for this blog is to share my learning journey, as well as giving me a place to dump a lot of my thoughts and ideas that I've always wanted to articulate into something more than just disjoint thoughts in my mind. Either way, if you find it interesting, stick around and feel free to share, and if it's not your cup of tea, that's also fine!
